Alina Simonov joined the Prysmian Romania team two years ago and from the very beginning, she proved to be someone we could rely on. Her enthusiasm and the work she puts in every day make her efforts not go unnoticed.

Alina helped us to arrange with production to accept an additional order for Telekom Slovenia, sent quotations, and managed that the delivery arrived on time. We have always been pleased with the service of the Customer Care team, and Alina's professionalism and enthusiasm to resolve issues promptly exceeded my expectations. This kind of professionalism and commitment to meeting customer requirements should be recognized. Having had such a pleasant experience we can only say that it is our pleasure to do business with Prysmian."
Before working at Prysmian Alina started her career in transport, forwarding, logistics and then continued with purchasing where she spent more time. She has worked in corporations and as she told us herself "it's not hard work, you just have to adapt to the trend, life is a continuous upgrade.
A step further in his career was Prysmian Group. "I had heard rumors in the market that locally it was one of the best employers. Plus a world leader in their field. What can I say? A picture that holds a lot of promise and I have to admit I've been wanting to join the team for a long time. I finally did. I was hired through a recruitment company."
At Prysmian, Alina initially worked in the Logistics department where she handled inter-company order management. Subsequently, it was decided that IC sales would be taken over by the Commercial department, and so, along with the tasks themselves, she was transferred to the Customer Care department. Here she manages both intra-group and direct customers.
When we asked her why she most enjoys working at Prysmian, she told us that although it may sound cliché, she likes the corporate environment and the opportunity to work in the new optical cable plant, the largest in the organization, built to very high standards. "It's a real pleasure to see the satisfaction and admiration of customers when they visit our factory. Plus the working days are never the same, we are always facing new challenges. It's all about how we handle them. After all, the Sales department is the interface between Prysmian and the customer. Difficulties have to be smoothed out so that the customer only receives solutions. Sometimes you have to be a good 'poet' to turn a problem into a beautiful story with a happy ending."
Motivation in the workplace comes easily to him, respect is one of the main goals he has to aim for in his relationship with clients. Respect brings with it a lot of other qualities: whether we're talking here about respect between colleagues or respect between supplier and customer, which gives me positive energy and motivates me.
In her free time, Alina listens to music, relaxes or participates and organizes board games with friends and has family meals - this is a weekly ritual. She likes to read whenever she has the opportunity and loves to travel - she visits as many sights as possible and feels energized whenever she is in nature and surrounded by greenery. "How would I describe the perfect holiday: in the most visited city, on the busiest street I would sit on a bench and just watch the world," Alina told us.
