Launch of the project "Equipping the R&D department of Prysmian Cables and Systems SA - AdFiOTech"

S.C. Prysmian Cabluri si Sisteme SA, located in Slatina, Str. Drăgănești, no. 28, Jud. Milcov Street, no. 12, starting from 31.07.2018, the project "Equipping the R&D department of Prysmian Cabluri si Sisteme SA - AdFiOTech", co-financed by the European Regional Development Fund, under the funding contract concluded with the Ministry of European Funds, designated as Managing Authority for the Competitiveness Operational Programme 2014 - 2020 and the Ministry of Research and Innovation, as Intermediate Body for the Competitiveness Operational Programme 2014 - 2020.

The total value of the project is 16.926.601,66 lei, of which the non-reimbursable financial assistance is 5.791.191,08 lei (from ERDF - 4.922.512,42 lei and from the national budget - 868.678,66 lei).

The project is being implemented in Slatina, Olt County for a period of 12 months.

The general objective of the AdFiOTech (Advanced Fiber Optics Technology) project is to increase the research capacity of the existing R&D department of Prysmian Cables and Systems by investing in highly innovative machinery and equipment, with the aim of improving existing products and creating new products, made of advanced materials, for the national and European market of fiber optic cables.
