50 Years Anniversary of the cables energy plant in Slatina

Prysmian Group Slatina hosted a spectacular event commemorating five decades of unparalleled cable production. With esteemed partners in attendance, the day unfolded as a testament to innovation, collaboration, and the future of power distribution.

The festivities commenced with a warm welcome from Nistor Constantin, the Chief Operating Officer for Romania. His insightful introduction delved into the rich global history of the Prysmian Group, outlining the main areas of expertise that have propelled the organization to its current standing.

Throughout the day, colleagues unveiled the latest advancements in energy cables, spotlighting revolutionary solutions such as P-laser, Eco-Cable, and cutting-edge technologies like Pry-Cam for asset monitoring and Alesea for drum management. During the day, those present in the conference room had the opportunity to witness a hands-on demonstration for connecting two medium voltage cables using our own accessories, which was skillfully performed by our French colleagues from the NWC MV & LV team EU, and which brought these innovations to life and further highlighted the utility of our products.
